Hey guys. After my computer crapped the bed several months ago, I've been doing a ton of research on building a new computer. I'm now just about ready to build my own computer. I've sought out everyone's experience here and have gotten answers, but now I feel I'm more confused as to where to go with my computer than knowledgeable. I'm getting to the point where I think I should just buy the parts and rip off the band aid, so I go to you all once more. What do you think of this build?

Patriot Viper Low Profile Black 8GB (2 x 4GB)

Total: $1203.28 (not including peripherals or rebates, etc. $75 in rebates)
If you click the link you'll see the other peripherals I've added, monitor, keyboard, mouse, wireless card, but I'm not as concerned about those things as I am the bulk of the computer. However, if you have advice regarding those I would be open to it.
$1200 is where I wanted to be around for the computer. With the peripherals I'm way over budget, but I'll survive. What do you think? Decent enough build? What would you change? Any hiccups you forsee?
