I'm currently in the market for a new graphics card and power supply for my desktop, the problem is that this is my first time buying them so I'm not sure if they are compatible with my computer. I have one I think I would like to buy and was wondering if it will work with my system before I buy it.

The graphics card is this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/PNY+-+XLR8+GeForce+GTX+650+2GB+GDDR5+PCI+Express+3.0+Graphics+Card/6820159.p?skuId=6820159&productCategoryId=pcmcat182300050008&id=1218808243147#tab=overview

And the power supply is this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/cx-series-modular-cx750m-750w-atx-power-supply/8324202.p?id=1218872214205&skuId=8324202&st=power%20supply&cp=1&lp=1#tab=overview

My system runs windows 8.1 pro. It has an intel i5-3570k CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.39 GHz. A 64 bit operating system, x64 based processor. With 4.00 GB of installed RAM.

Thanks for any help.

You chose some good parts for a first timer. The scary part is you actually chose a quality PSU too! (that's where I messed up in my build).

But you should also get another 1x4GB stick to match that 4 gigs of RAM, most gaming computers (I'm assuming this out of the blue, I dont actually know if you game or not) have a minimum of 8 gigs of RAM. Unless you have a 2x2GB set, then woe is you.
