My computer is a HP PAVILION P6823W 3.5GHZ 4GB 1TB DESKTOP. This site shows all of the specs of the computer https://www.blinq.com/computers-office/pc-desktops-all-in-ones/hp-pavilion-p6823w-3-5ghz-4gb-1tb-desktop/73636
I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card to be able to play current games such as the Elder Scrolls Online. I was able to play the beta but only on low settings. I would like to be able to play with at least meduim or higher settings once the actual game launches in April. I'm not very computer savvy and have no idea how to go about upgrading the graphics or what graphics card I should get. Any input would be great.

This is another 450W power supply of a higher quality and reliable brand, just a little bit more money : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371045. Also, you say you dont wanna mess with the computer, and then ask for a video card compatible with 450W, which is a PSU you have to buy that requires you to fiddle with some wires inside your computer for its setup. So, im kinda confused. But yeah just to play it high settings 1080o over 30 fps get the radeon 7770 : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202084 . Its 90 bucks which is a steal! I usually see them around 120 bucks so right now you should get it quick! Happy gaming

There are really only a few key things to know when you want to upgrade your graphics card.
1. How many watts is the power supply and your computer, and if theres enough power available for the graphics card to run smoothly. Looking at the specs of your computer ( http://bit.ly/1mfCPfp) It shows you have only 250watts which isn't really good if you want to get a graphics card capable of playing ESO on good settings. I would recommend upgrading that to atleast 430W to have the best options.

2. If your motherboard has atleast one PCI-e 3.1 x16 slot.
3. If your computer case is big, mid-sized, mini. This helps determine if you need a smaller version of the graphics card you want ( low profile ) or just its regular model. Your in luck though, as i found on the specs website that its mid ranged, and has the pcie slot you need.
Those are really the basic things. As i said before, your power supply is very minimal, and you would put your computer at a risk to get the kind of video card you would like for gaming. ( get this for example http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152032)
If you really want to, you could experiment with getting the radeon 7750, it probably would work as your CPU doesnt use that many watts so.. go at your own risk!

Thank you very much for that info vlxedits! That site for my computer seems like something I should have seen before. After looking at the second link of the Power supply and reading the reviews i'm not convinced that would be the option if it is as loud as people were saying. Are there any other 450 watt power supply's that you might recommend? Also i'd rather not do anything too risky and mess the computer up so is there a graphics card that you might recommend that would run ESO on high settings, would be compatible with my computer, and run on a 450 watt power supply?

You said that I could experiment with getting the radeon 7750 but to try it at my own risk, I just meant I would rather not do anything too risky and possibly mess up the computer not that I didn't want to mess with the computer. So that radeon 7770 would be the one to upgrade to after upgrading the power supply? Sorry just trying to make sure.
