Hello
I have a
gigabyte fxa990-ud3 motherboard
AMD FX 8350 CPU (4.0 Ghz Stock)
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Cooler
2x Artic Cooling F9 PWM Fans
I tried overclocking to 4.5 Ghz went on a game, put the graphics on max, was getting 50 fps avg
After about 10 seconds game froze and i got blue screen
In settings I have disabled Cool 'n' Quite, APM, C1E
I then changed the CPU Clock Ratio so the CPU Frequency would say 4.30Ghz
and ran a few games and everything seemed fine
So i went back into settings and changed the CPU Frequency to 4.50Ghz
Went on a game for about 5 mins, change the graphic settings and 10 seconds of playing... blue screen
I thort my cooler was decent enough to overclock by .5Ghz
Am i doing it all correct and should stick with 4.3Ghz? or is there a setting i missed which will let me have 4.5Ghz?
OR
Did it just have a one off blue screen crash... but i dont believe this since its never blue screened before ever...
