I'm thinking of buying an AMD Radeon HD 7750 1 GB and wanted to know if it could run most games at medium-high settings. I was also curious if I could run Bully: Scholarship Edition at it's highest settings (1600x900). Thanks in advance!

My Specs are: Processor- Intel Core i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07 GHz
Ram- 4.00 GB (3.80 usable)
System- Windows 7 64 bit
Monitor- Acer S200HQLbd 19.5"

Solution
The 750 is about twice as powerful while using about the same amount of power, the non Ti 750 should retail at about 120 or lower

If you are thinking of going with the 7750 for whatever reason (if you find a good deal for instance), the GDDR5 version is the one you'd want to get

When it comes to modern games, you'll have a hard time on higher settings with your current CPU and a 7750, lower medium settings at decent framerates is achievable, you'll see much better results at medium high settings with a 750/750 Ti

I personally think that the 7750 is one of the best video card for lower wattage PSU's since it doesn't require any additional power directly from the PSU. I am a bit of an AMD fanboy though, so my opinion is definitely biased. However, it does have some pretty impressive performance with such a limited amount of power, so I would have to say that it is one of my top picks for mid range cards.

side note: I own a 7850.

I'm in the same position as you. I have an i5 3330, 6 gigs of RAM, 330W PSU, and a GT 630. I'm looking at the 7750 and the GTX 750ti. I'm leaning toward the 750(ti) just for the simple fact that it's recommended PSU is 300W (compared to the 7750's 400w) and it performs substantially better... and it's newer. If you have an extra 20 to 50 bucks get the 750 like I am:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487027 <---- 120 bucks (USD)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487025 <---- 150 bucks, but performs better
Both work on a 300w PSU.

Hope this helps :D

EDIT: Note that I'm usually an AMD lover.

Reading some reviews the regular 750 is a bit below the 260x while the 750 Ti should be around the same level as a 650 Ti Boost so it's not too big a difference, it's still a lot of performance per watt

Though for most modern games 2GB of VRAM is recommended, the 750 usually comes with 1GB while most 750 Ti models are 2GB

Given your tight budget and weaker PSU the 750 would definitely be your best bet

Have fun
