How To Disable Steam Region Lock?

Hey all, I'll be moving outside of the US in a few months. Since all my games are purchased in the US, I expect I'll not be able to use them. Is there any workaround to this that's NOT vpn? I know it WILL get me banned, so that's a no-go. In any event, how does a law-abiding Steamizen play his games around the world?

Apart from VPN, it will never hurt to talk to their Customer Service. You can also try "fooling" the DNS, by using US name server settings when abroad.

You just need to contact them. There is no legal way to do it, and there arent many ways for that matter.

I'm a brit that lives abroad, never use a vpn apart from buying games where i set it to london, never had any problems with getting games to work (such as multiplayer where i dont use vpn) or being banned for using vpn
