Is Raidmax really so bad?

I'm building a computer and deciding a computer case, and I found one. I've been looking through reviews and nothing comes up bad for the case itself, but it seems many dislike Raidmax a lot. MY question is what's so bad about Raidmax? Btw the case I'm thinking of buying is the Raidmax BlackStorm. raidmax.com/chassis/blackstorm.html‎

Solution
Many people look to the tier ratings that date back forever and seem to think that's it, Raid Max has improved quality over the last few years, I have their RX-850AE right now on my IB rig and runs perfectly fine and has for awhile now, have used a few in builds with no problems.

Thanks for all your answers and suggestions, but my main question hasn't been answered yet. What is bad about the company itself? Is it just their crappy psu's?

@Tradesman1
EDIT: Just saw I just saw your answer and thanks

Depends on how much you want to spend on a case and what your overall system budget is.

They seem a bit like Coolermaster's little brother.

Coolermaster made terrible PSUs for years and faked their 80+ certifications. But, at the same time made decent cases and coolers. So their reputation wasn't awful. Now they make better PSUs are trying to better their image.

RAIDMAX is similar. They never lied about their PSUs being good. Even they knew they were crap. They now make a FEW good quality units and some decent cases. (not anywhere near as good as coolermaster though). Unfortunately, their reputation was SO bad from basically being the worst PSU company in the game for years, that it will likely never get much better.

That's exactly it. Once a company has a reputation for making shoddy products it takes a very long time to re-build that bad reputation. I know I won't be using any of their products until I see a string of excellent reviews from trusted sites. I know they now make some decent PSUs, but it's not enough for me to trust them in my own builds yet. I've built enough systems to know what brands I can trust and which ones to avoid. Raidmax is on the avoid list for me at the moment.

Right now the cases I'm looking at are under $100 and one I have in mind is the Apevia X-Trooper. But, I'm looking for an alternatives possibly with a design similar or even better than the trooper and with more functionality. Usb 3.0, Sata, etc. Also front case ports and jacks must be on top. Kinda picky sorry, Also, the RaidMax BlackStorm and the Antec GX500 have been on my mind as well. Modern Cases are more of my style I guess you could say.

I would not get a RAIDMAX or APEVIA case. They both are junk honestly. You will likely have issues with them such as non working USB ports and I would give either case a 50/50 shot of having the infamous headphone jack feedback that low quality cases are known for.
