i5 4570 or FX-8350 for general computer use

Hello!

I've read a ton of forums but most tend to lean towards gaming. Can't decide between these two CPUs for the following:

65%- 2 web browsers with 5-15 tabs each
30%- Photoshop Elements and Adobe Lightroom
5%- light gaming.

thinking the large single-threaded advantage on the 4570 is what I want.

Any thoughts? Thanks so much!

Both of these are overkill for "general uses" but if I had to pick between the two, I would go with the i5 just because it's so much more efficient.

Thanks for the tips guys!

As far as overkill, I'm not happy anymore with my Core2 duo 6750 performance any more- especially in lightroom. If I'm going to upgrade, I thought this was a pretty good price point to aim for?
