I'm just about to buy a 66ft long hdmi cord for my pc room to my loungeroom but i want to know what wireless controller would you recommend.

Must be long range.
(I like couch gaming, for certain pc games that require no wrist strain.)

Solution
XBOX 360.

You will however need to have the USB receiver within range and for that you'll need USB cables with repeaters to go that far. I think 16-feet is the normal length. Not sure if USB3 makes a difference.

Anyway, you'll find out the maximum length when you try to buy a USB cable.

There's to many cords envolved. im taking sacrifice with the hdmi cord, but i need a blue tooth or genuine wireless controller, maybe dongle based.

We live in a technology age and such devices exist. (except male jack optical digital outputs for mp3 players) i know wireless technology for consoles exist, why not for pc.

What's logitec offering, maybe razor have some crazy controllers in developememt. usb based cords will not cut it.

the official MS wireless dongle for the Xbox 360 controller is known to overheat and fail over time. some people have claimed the cheap chinese ripoffs of these dongles lasts much longer. take that as you may.

Logitech offers the F710 controller for their wireless solution. however, many a major complaint are forwarded to the dead zones on their analog sticks. it doesn't happen with all the controllers, but you'd be trying your luck.

Razer has the Sabertooth, if i recall. it's a much more expensive x360 controller, with snappier buttons and support for both wired and wireless, from what i read. the cons; expensive.

unfortunately for you, if you want better reliability than the above choices at a reasonable costs, not a lot of choices left for you as wired is still much more reliable than wireless.
