1. Haven't played either because of my slow pc..
2. I want to play it badly.
3. 50% Sale on Origin till 23rd Feb.
4. BF3 PRemium costs $20 and BF4 costs $35.
5. Will be the first time I use Origin.
6. My connection will be at 512kbps till month end and 1Mbps then on. I know its slow but gotta live with it when in this country. Also what's BF3's size?

Solution
BF3's total game file size is about 23 GB I believe

what are you PC specs? If your PC can handle BF4 I say BF4, might as well get the newer one since you're just arriving on the scene

Thanks..You say I will have to download 23GB?!!
And can you please tell more about the way Origin works...

Im not playing it on this pc because I will be buying a new pc soon.

Will I be able to download later (2 months later) on even though I purchase the game now?

I think I will just go with bf3 premium for now since it is almost half the cost as the base bf4. Also I keep hearingstuff about all those BF4 mp problems and I suppose Il get it next year maybe when all dlcs are up and its errors free.. Anyway kinda sucks that both these games had a mediocre Single player stories :(

even with the problems BF4 is still fun as hell, I have both and when I got BF4 I never went back, the problems are frustrating but the game itself is gorgeous.

Origin works like a ghetto Steam basically (with a slightly better downloading service), you buy a game and it gets added to your library of games, you can then go to the library and install games onto your computer

Sorry I have never bought from Steam, only a demo once :p
If I make the purchase now, can I download it later?
How many times can I download the same game?
After download can I install it multiple times?

when you make the purchase it is tied to your account so you can DL it anytime as many times as you want I believe, as long as you are accessing it from your account.

the download process automatically installs the game onto your computer, so it's not like a few years ago, where you would DL an installer to install something onto your computer, the whole process is combined

Ok so if I purchase the game now, can I install it in my present pc for now and then copy the downloaded folder to the new one when I buy it or download it again on that one and still be able to play on both though not at the same time?

Oh and the sale is on till 28 and I dont think I would be able to complete the download before that, Is purchasing it for now ok?

I'm not sure about the copying the folder directly to a new PC, theoretically that's possible but it causes MANY problems (I have tried because I have really slow internet), so ultimately it's probably better just to re-download it on the new computer. And nope you can't play it on 2 separate computers at the same time, you can only be logged into Origins on one computer at a time.

And yes, buying it for now would be okay, the game will stay in your library as long as your account exists so you can just DL it whenever you please :)

Cool!! And I dint mean 2 comps at the same time...I meant My present comp for now and then the new one!

Will the whole download have to be started again if the download process is hindered? I have a slow and sometimes annoyingly breaking up connection...:??::(
