First of all ensure all drivers are installed.

As mentioned above, what connection are you using to connect to the monitor?

Obvious checks: make sure the monitor is on the appropriate channel, and in terms of troubleshooting, plug something else into the monitor (a game console, a friends computer, a laptop etc) to see if that works. Also make sure that your computer can still output video to your tv.

Finally, it is always a good idea to contact wherever you got your monitor from and let them know you are having issues. It opens the door for easier returns and often they are able to offer some product specific troubleshooting.

Good luck in solving your problem

There is a switch that changes the refresh rate for different types of setups. Check the switch then check the refresh rate which I think is 60 per second which is usually a rare. I would guess it is the switch good luck
