I have been trying for a long time to get my ram to run at it's rated speed. (Patriot viper red v3 1600mhz 4x4gb kit)
Motherboard is GA-970a-ds3 and my CPU is the fx-8350.
The timings I set are 9-9-9-24 at 1.5v
The system initially runs but after one or two restarts it is unstable and won't load windows I just get a flashing screen or BSOD until I set it back to auto mode for motherboard which runs it at 1333 then is completely stable. Tried doing it with xmp also but that was even worse haha. Anything more needed? Thanks for your help in advance.
Ps. Already ran memtest on my sticks at 1333 and returned no errors.
