Can anyone explain to me the difference between creating a custom resolution in the Nvidia Control Panel vs. using the different anti-aliasing settings in the Nvidia Inspector?
I get that with custom resolutions you can trick your graphics card into outputting a resolution higher than what your monitor is capable of, but is that equivalent to any certain type of anti-aliasing?
I see all the options in the Nvidia Inspector for super sampling, multi-sampling, etc. But I don't really understand the difference, or impact on performance.
