Can i swap from one computer to another and back again

I was wondering if anyone knew if I could use the cpu from my original comp in the one im building. the mother board in the comp im building is compatible with the cpu from the computer im using. Im just short on funds so I have to wait on getting a new cpu but want to use the one I have just to make sure everything works.

You can do that as long as you're positive the CPU is compatible with both motherboards. Just be very careful because every time you move the CPU you risk damaging pins if you're not careful. You will also need to stock up on thermal paste because you'll need to re-install it every time you move the CPU.

yeah I got a whole tube of paste on the way before I do anything. The new motherboard is LGA 1155 socket the intel cpu I have in my comp is ai5 3330 mother board is P8z68-vgen/pro 3 its asus board
