Which cpu would be better for my needs?

I'm still skeptical on whether I should get an AMD 8350 or some intel line, whether it be the 3570kl or an i7.

I want the cpu that allows me to not only game well, but also do a bit of video editing. Now I won't be video editing like it's my job, but I occasionally make videos, and would like to be able to do it efficiently.

Now I've heard that the intel computers generally game better, but the amd does better in video editing.

I also would like to stream games as well, so would the extra cores be a factor between these cpus?

the 8350 with its extra cores will help rendering and stuff but the i5 does it pretty good too, and is better for in general gaming, the i7 would be best for both. It also matters on the editing program but most use multi core. For streaming same situation the 8350 is best for the price, but the i5 isnt that much slower and the i7 would be best or similar to the 8350 but then again matters on what ur using to render and stream.

Personally i dont see any performance hit from my friends i7 3770k against my 8320 in quality and smoothness, nor did i see any with my oc'd x6 1055t. He has a gtx 670 and i have a 7970, so be side the fps difference we get similar quality game play for bf4, crysis 3, etc. He records more gameplay than i do so not sure on that and havent really tested head to head on render times.

Best bang for ur buck for gaming occasional streaming and rendering id go 8350, if u can spend more then go i7. Also matters on the gpu u get, nvidia has shadowplay and other features that are nice and i know some programs use gpu accelerated rendering, and obviously the power of the gpu lol.

Well for streaming I use obs, and video editing I've only been able to use movie maker rofl. I've tried running Vegas 11 on my laptop and let me tell you that was a disaster.
