Hi all,

I'm selling my Ps3 in leiu of my gaming PC and as such I began searching for a Ps3 emulator for commercial games, but all hopes were dashed by reality. Unfortunately that means no more The Last Of Us.

What i'm after if possible is a "all in one" emulater that will play both ps1 titles and ps2 ones.

Does anyone know of a single emulator that will do both?

I have searched google but I am being bombarded with news articles about a proposed Ps4 emulator giving it the ability.

Regards

There is no all in one for both, simply because the architectures are so different.

PS1 wise, the top choices are EPSXE and PCSX Reloaded. I prefer the second; EPSXE is more famous, but has had its history of issues. Graphic plugin wise, try and find "Pete's OGL2 Plugin", since its the best out there.

PS2 wise, PCSX2 is your only option. At present, you can expect most games to run fine, but plenty of issues remain. Its getting there, but don't be shocked if you need a few game hacks to get some stuff to work.

Thanks for your reply,

I will look into both these emulators and see which I prefer but this has saved me from sifting through the scam emulators that stopped my ps3 search in it's tracks.

I'm fine with working through game hacks to get them working, as most of the games I'll be looking to play will be well known (gotta love nostalgia) google should see me right.

Thanks again for your reply,

Regards
