Hi guys Im Currenty in need on a new gpu. I have a Dota 2 Tournament coming up in a few days and i don't want to upset my friends because we've been playing for quite a while and haven't played in a tournament in months. But I still haven't got my new gpu.. I need to decide between gtx 780 or gtx 760 2-way Sli. I have a Corsair 650watt 80+ bronze psu and I will get the gtx 760 2-way sli if my psu can handle it. My Cpu is i5-3570k @4.1 ghz with 8GB Ram. So guys please help me. Can my psu handle gtx 760 2-way sli? Thank You!

First of all getting 2x 760 is waste of money simply because they are not that powerful and 2nd no 760 x 2 needs 850 + watt and get a 780 instead it performs so much better and will last longer but u still need 750+ watt recommended

You don't need a 780 for dota 2, A single 760 will be more than you require.

In regards to either 760's or a 780, I would recommend the 780. The two 760's in SLI will be more powerful, however they will generate substantially more heat, draw more power, plus you'll have issues like micro stutter and some games that don't support SLI. The 780 is a very powerful card and will run anything you throw at it, plus you won't have to worry about any of the other issues that come with SLI.

Now, GTX 780 manufacturers. The general consensus is that either a MSI, Gigabyte or Asus card will be the best choice. They are the most tried and tested manufacturers, and are the highest performers in regards to clocks, cooling and noise. Something unique about the 780 is that all of the manufacturers follow the same design in regards to cooler type and fan configuration, so in the end the manufacturer won't actually make that much of a difference.

Conclusion: GTX 780; MSI, Gigabyte or Asus.

true 2 760 wil be abit more powerfull but not worth the extra power needed and the extra heat its not going to be worth it.

hence 780 is more then good enough to run future games like 3years in or 5
