Hey guys. Long time lurker, first time poster. I've got a HTPC connected to my TV via HDMI. The HTPC has no keyboard, which complicates everything.

I just installed a new graphics card (ASUS 210 Silent) and it booted up using default BIOS settings, booted into Windows, and downloaded some updates (including for the graphics card). I installed the software and restarted. Here's where things get weird.

The computer boots. I can see the POST, I have the option to boot in to the BIOS (which I can't -- no keyboard), and I see the Windows loading screen. As soon as the loading is complete, the screen turns black - no image. The TV's display shows a 720P input, but there's no image. The computer also does NOT have a VGA output, unfortunately.

Any thoughts, new friends?

Hey drtweak, thanks for replying. I had no keyboard of any kind (crazy, right?) to get into the boot menu. Neither of my graphics cards had VGA output, nor did I have a VGA cable.

I ended up resolving it through reinstalling the old video card, using that to boot into Windows, and setting up VNC as well as uninstalling & reinstalling the graphics drivers/software. That seems to have fixed it. Thanks again!

Don't have a USB keyboard to plug into it for just this test? If so i would turn on the PC and keep hitting F8 on and off until you get the advanced boot menu. Then selecting the VGA mode (Forces 640x480) and then change resloution once you boot in and restart. Should keep that Resloution
