When playing Slender on my MBP 2.9GHz 8GB ram Intel HD graphics 4000, the temperature of both cores rises to at least 100C and doesn't seem to stop going up.

I have to run the fan at least 4000 RPM to get the temp below 105C.

Any help? What might be causing it?

Is Slender even a light game as Minecraft runs at 75-90C in an ideal situation.

(NOTE: I never have any lag on SLENDER:
800X600 windowed
Graphics fastest
Solid 90 FPS)

UPDATE: Sorry that this should have been in cooling, but I am still new to the forum - I will learn from my mistakes.

Are you using the stock cooler and do you have any overclock? Also what software are you using to monitor the temps. If there is no overclock then you need to re seat the cooler and re apply thermal paste. On stock setting most Intel chips will almost never go above 75-80*c anything above that may cause some damage to the CPU.
