So my girlfriends laptop got stolen last week so she bought a toshiba satellite c55-a-1 jk and I installed a SSD to make sure she got the most out of her money.
The problem is that she's blind and the SSD causes the laptop to make no sound at all.
I can't adjust the fanspeed trough software and can't find an option in the bios either. are there any ways to make the laptop louder - especially on bootup without voiding warranty?
Things I've thought of are using a usb gadget that powers up and starts making noise or placing a cd in her drive so that it might spin on bootup.
