Im new to Tom's Hardware forums but i've been reading this place for a long long time. Finally I need some help with an issue. I bought a vizio e601i-a3e 60inch LED TV and so far im really loving it except for one thing. Say there is a dark scene in a movie/videogame, if a object in the scene moves (panning does not seem to cause this) there will be a blue glow around the object until it stops moving. I had a 42" tv before this (for 4 years) and never really remember seeing it. But with a new TV of course im looking for everything and I noticed this blue glow. Thinking that it was just motion blur I have spent hours testing the TV with as much as I could, sports, videogames, action movies, and there is no sign of motion blur except for the dimply light scenes. Is this common and im just now noticing it?

With LED lit LCD TVs there are ways to manipulate the LED lighting to give you deeper blacks. Each manufacturer has different algorithms and processors to do this. There are side effects when you have an object on a black background. You can try turning off some of the video processing in the TV menu and see if it makes any difference.
Your old TV may not have been LED lit or was a plasma that has no need for this type of processing.
