hi guys, so here is the problem:
About 5 days ago my computers went into a boot loop (couldn't even get to bios). i opened up the case, detached and reattached the ram and it started working fine. Yesterday i installed a new psu and a new cpu fan, now it is doing the same thing. the computer boots and works fine with 4gb and 8gb of ram but as soon as i add one more it goes into the boot loop again. I don't think the ram is the problem because the ram works fine when i have any configuration as long as it 8gb (2, 4gb sticks) but this is only on the 1st and 2nd ram slot, if i put anything in the 3rd and 4th slot it goes into a boot loop (even with 8gb).
here is my system specs: - Processor: Intel Quad Core i5-3570 Processor 3.4Ghz
- RAM / Memory: 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR III 1333 MHz Premium System Memory
- Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit
- Motherboard: z77MA-G45
- Hard Drive: 1000GB (1TB) Serial ATA Hard Disk Drive
- Graphics Card: 2GB nVidia Geforce GTX660Ti
- Power Supply: Corsair VS650w
- Processor Cooling Fan: Tcp 812
Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
