settings for catalyst control center

my computer is a hp pavilion g6. it was having windows7 operating system,but i've installed windows 8 for which my atm radeon graphics is not working. i installed the graphics driver. but when clicking on catalyst control centre it's showing a message box that settings for catalyst control centre is not available,and also switchable graphics option is not available, so help me plzz ??
