CoolerMaster PSU 1300 watt failed under warranty they replaced, months later same thing this time 1300 watt not available OS = Win7 ultimate since build day one, new PSU 1500 watt ---- guess what OS says SCREW YOU reinstall . I assume because it changes the system configuration overall but still thats just plain STUPID !!!

I aborted last night before doing the reinstall, I tried an "update" try to repair you know that NEVER works, so before I reinstall
I need to confirm which drive is my SSD so I gave up last night,, if anyone knows how to avoid a reinstall let me know before end of workday today lol some times I HATE Microsoft. This is like having to restart your car after changing wiper blades or some similar absurd analogy like that .. whats next change mouse or monitor and require full OS reinstall insane !!!

If you haven't changed motherboards or anything like that, you can call microsoft and they will get you the right stuff to get windows reinstalled.

Reinstall? Strange.
Check the boot priority sequence in the BIOS, make sure that your primary HDD/SSD is the first one there.

well, believe it or not, a similar thing happened to me a few months ago. without changing anything, i turned on the PC and it asked to repair/reinstall due to missing system files in windows, so i checked my BIOS and noticed that my primary SSD wasn't even in the boot priority list, at all. it was very strange i know.

Note: before you check the BIOS, check the SSDs connections first.
