Hello everyone,

Okay, So I hooked everything up. It's all plugged in, and no issues. But when I turn on the computer, I don't get any video signal to my monitor.

So I completely took everything out, and plugged it all back in. This time, It connected with my monitor, and went to the bios, but I had a hardware issue telling me my CPU fan failed..Though, the fan was spinning normally, without failure.

Then, I decided to turn off my computer again, and check to see if the fan for my cpu was connected properly. It was. I then preceded to make sure everything was fine, before I turned it back on.

I then turned my system back on, and boom. Wouldn't connect to my monitor again. Nothing comes up, my bios aren't there, and it's saying there was a hdd error. So, I undid everything AGAIN. No video signal, and no warnings. I was also going to install Windows 7 VIA Flashdrive. For some reason, when the bios actually did come up, it was setting the flashdrive as the main hard drive. Also, When I tried setting the 1TB hard drive as the main, is when it gave me the disk error, even though it was showing it was connected and everything. I honestly have no idea what the problem is. Please give me tips/advice on how to fix the problem! Thank you so much!

I have a gaming computer that I built. Worked fine for 5 years then lately when I boot up I don't get the bios video and video signal going into my monitor. But a few seconds later I get the Windows video and it works fine. Then I loaded this software to enhance the performance of my computer and next thing you know it screwed up everything. Fortunately I have a disk image of my working operating system that I can load back. Now the problem was I could not get into the bios because I don't get the bios video where I need to set up to boot from a Norton Ghost CD. After unplugging the power to the computer and resetting and removing the bios battery and resedding the RAM cards, I still had the same problem. Then I just so happen to have an old video gaming card. I removed the gaming card from my computer and replaced it with the old gaming card. Viola!...I got the bios video back and the Windows video. Bad video card.
