Hi there guys, I'm looking to upgrade my radeon HD 6950, to something that will be able to handle the newers games like evolve(cryengine i believe) and titanfall on max settings while still lasting me through the next 2-3 years maybe of gaming.

Additional considerations: would like to oculus rift once its out on market, still compatible with a GA-990FXA-UD3 (revision 1.1) motherboard(if there's a card that requires an mobo upgrade to mount I would still love to know about it as I want to pave the road to future gaming anyway)

If my pricepoint was around 350-450 give or take about 10% what is likeliest to fit the bill?

@PVE will that last through 2 years of next gen though? seems like it would be obsolete pretty quick.

if you want something that will last you should get the 280x and the sapphire toxic ones are the best

Get GTX 780 it's faster than everything that others mentioned and will last you 2~3 years with 1080p resolution gaming on high to ultra settings :)
Otherwise GTX 770 it's faster than 280X and cheaper!
