My new videocard (MSI R9 270X) provides me with two PCI-E 6pin NO CONNECTOR cable in the box. So one 12v (yellow cable) is not connected

My PSU already provides me with two PCI-E 6pin with the extra yellow 12v connector.

Does it hurt the videocard to use those PCI-E cables with the extra 12v connector? Or do i really have to use the 6pin no connector that MSI gave in the box?

PSU = Cooler Master GX Bronze 80+ 650W ATX

Always use the cables from the PSU if available. Use conversion cables supplied with the card only if the PSU does not have the required ones.
Converter cables are for last resort only and not guaranteed to work.
