DVD's for computer/DVD player

I have OS7-64 bit in my ACER laptop. I have burnt other Movie's on my laptop when it was OS Vista-64 bit. I down loaded the latest Windows Movie Maker and they will only play on my computer, I use the mastered system for burning??? They now come out as MP4, I believe the older burns were UBS??

need HELP!!

Have you tried Windows DVD Maker? If not, the way you install (enable) it is to do the following:
1) Click on Start
2) Click on Control Panel
3) Click on Programs and Features
4) On the left side click on "Turn Windows features on or off
5) Click the + beside Media Features
6) Place a check in the box next to Windows DVD Maker
7) Click on Ok
That should install Windows DVD Maker
