I purchased a custom Laptop a few months back with a HD8970m Graphics Card and I've been waiting to play Battlefield 4 in ultra. The only problem is that when I change settings around, my fps sticks around 22 no matter if it's on low quality or Ultra. I'm hoping a Crossfire could help me out here? Is this a stupid idea or???

If your FPS are not affected by switching from low to ultra you should definitely look into that. That shouldn't happen at all. The only thing I can imagine is that the CPU is too slow. I'm not too familiar with laptop CPUs, but going by the Intel naming scheme your CPU should be quite powerful. As I said, if low and ultra give you the same FPS, that is what you should look into first.
