Storing drivers on a separate partition

Hello, got a question to see if this is possible.

Is there a bootloader, or any boot arguments available to load drivers for windows 7 off of a separate partition on the same hard drive? Here's my idea.

Hard Drive
Partition 0
Bootloader with drivers
Partition 1
Operating System

Or

Hard Drive
Partition 0
Storage for all Drivers
Partition 1
Operating System

Is this at all possible under Windows 7 or with the help of an external bootloader? I'm used to this method in osx86/freebsd to load drivers and kexts correctly, but not sure if you can under Windows. I've messed with Windows PE some, and while that's helped for the deployment of the image it hasn't helped with the drivers.

Basically our machines are being upgraded to Windows 7, and we're doing a mass installation of one master image, instead of doing an image for each model or machine. We've experimented with putting the drivers in the same image as the OS, but that causes too many issues with installation. And in some of these machines, we can't do a post installation pack because some of them don't have a NIC driver under Windows 7 while they do under Windows PE.
