Hi,
Though I'm not really upgrading right now I am getting a bit curious given the release of the new maxwell based 700 series gpus.
Earlier I was thinking if I ever chose to upgrade I'd get a 650 ti by gainward (it states that 400 watt is recommended as opposed to the 450 watt requirement of other manufacturers).
The following is the configuration I've thought about:

Gigabyte GA-B85-D3H Mobo (Need the PCI because of an old M-Audio sound card, if you guys know some mobo of asus or msi or even gigabyte that has one pci and one pci-e x1 connector please share)
    Intel i7 4770K
    Cooler Master Hyper TX3
    8 GB Corsair Vengeance (2x4GB)
    Seagate ST1000DM03 1 TB HDD
    Asus 24B3ST DVD Writer
Asus GTX 750 TI 2 GB OC (this will obviously require more power than a stock 750 ti but I'm wondering how much, there aint any specification on asus' website)
And one high flow 120mm fan at the back of the case.
The case is a stock HP, if I feel that there are some heating issues I may just go ahead and mod it to put in additional 80mm fans.

So how do you think the FSP Saga II 400 Watt PSU will run the above rig? Am I putting it under a bit too much?

Also I might probably get a 650 ti only just because of the fact that I doubt the 750 ti will run iray. iRay just managed to get itself working on the keplar series properly and now they've changed the architecture again, so It'll probably take till 3DS Max 2016 to get it working properly.

So the question again is that will the gainward 650 ti run well as well or am I again pushing it?

I would suggest a 500W+ PSU with 80+ Cert. minimum.

I would recommend a 750W+ PSU for the sake of using it later in case you want to SLi/CF two GPU's.

No intention of sli, and you mentioned the 500 watt for the 650 right? because from what i've seen a 500 watt plus seems like an overkill for the 750.
