What's a good 3TB External HD?

Hey guys,

Looking to spend around £100. I have had a WD external for over 2yrs now with no fault. I've had a 3TB Seagate and the connector is terrible so I'm sending that back. I would prefer one that has USB 3.0 and would like it to have 3TB. I'll be using the external for games and such, pretty much putting everything on there as I have done with the previous external.

So far I'm leaning towards WD but I'd like to hear your opinions.

What about this one -

Thanks guys.

Well theres only Seagate, WD, and Hitachi/Toshiba left for drive makers...

Both WD and Seagate have served me well for many years so the Mybook should be fine, just be wary of the the hardware encryption thats used. I'm pretty sure if you dont give it a password at setup then its turned off. If you turn it on it will make recovery of files difficult.

I got a laugh at how they advertise 5GBs speeds like theres a harddrive made that could even approach 1/10th of that speed. LoL
