Hello - I seem to be flying into a cloud of rocks during my OSX install ...

Here is the system:

i73930k CPU
Asus Sabertooth X79
Evga GeForce GTX780 Ti
32gb corsair vengeance
Ocz 240gb SSD

Motherboard bios has been flashed to the latest version and the bios has been set to the recommended settings for a hackintosh install. Also just as an FYI all the hardware posts as it should ... I'm stumped...

I have tried every combination of settings for the multibeast OSX installer

Npci=0x2000 and 3000
GraphicsEnabler on and off
PCIRootUID=0 and 1
CPUs=1 -v and without loading drivers -x

Pretty much every iteration of those 4 settings...

I should mention it seems to break after all the verbos echoed startup gets to the Apple Ethernet load and the screen blanks out to go to the installer ( which I have yet to see ) - it goes black and then no signal ...

Anyone have this build and more success than I am having?

Any suggestions would be really appreciated ....

Thank you!

I can only make some recommendations: These sites for one:

http://www.hackintosh.com/
http://www.osx86project.org/
http://www.osx86.net/

Problem is, It works on some PCs, partially works on others, and doesn't work on the rest.

With your setup, There is the most likely chance it won't work, As firstly the 3930k Hex core is problem #1.

Hi Unknown .... Thanks for the reply!

It never actually gets a chance to boot up the actual OSX installer... It stops right before the GUI of the installer is supposed to load :/

I bit the bullet and installed windows 7 yesterday so I could keep working but it would be nice to have OSX ... Any advice towards this is appreciated ....

My buddy has the identical setup hackintoshed same CPU / motherboard / RAM / SSD .. But he is running the gtx680 .... Looks like the gtx780Ti is the problem ... The gtx780 is fine ... I guess it's the TI veriant that is the problem :/

I guess I'm running windows lol ...

Thank you for your help though ... Much appreciated!
