Can't connect to internet after fresh Windows install

Hi, I've alredy intalled mymotherboard's driver CD but can't find any connection. When clcik in "Resolve problem" It keeps asking me to connect Ethernet cables (that are alredy connected of course).

Can someone please give me the right URLs to download the drivers for my PC? All I can suppose is that the installed drivers aren't working for any rason

I have a modem and a router connection- My laptop and tablet are running internet fine.
In device settings, incategory network adapters is: NVIDIA nForce 10/100 Mbps Ethernet with no exclamation sign.

My router is Lynksys WRT54G, I can only access to its configuration through my laptop, not my PC. I type 192.168.1.1 and there it is.
Ping to my gateway in PC results in "transmit failed. General Failure" and all the packets lost.

I don't know if I have to configure something in my...

You checked in device manager that the NIC is alright?
Please ping your gateway, does that go alright?

P.S. when I try to open the link it gave me an 403 error. Can you please provide us with the brand and type of your NIC. Thanks
