Hello, I have tried searching for hours upon end on this problem, I tried everything I could find but still to no avail.
I have a GeForce GT 540M on my laptop as well as integrated graphics (of course), and I actually got Skyrim to play on my GT 540M earlier this week (I do not know how) but now I am noticing huge amounts of jagged edges and jagged text, thus making me figure out that I'm actually using the integrated graphics instead of the GT 540M. Any help is very well appreciated. Thank you.

you mean the Nvidia Experience? Yeah I have it, useful little program. Anyways my problems are fixed now, turns out that the GT 540M has Optimus technology which means that it kicks in whenever needed.
