iTunes/YouTube/etc... won't play after installing new gpu

Have you done a clean install of your Windows? Have you installed drivers for your graphics card? Do you use onboard sound or do you have a sepera te sound card?
I have a separate sound card/audio interface. I'm a musician and I record with this. I did install the drivers for the gpu. And downloaded first and then when that didn't work, I used the disc to try for different results. All ended the same. I'm starting to doubt that it's the gpu at all and thinking maybe it was just coincidental timing that my gpu went out and this glitch started with all of my playback. I haven't don't a clean install of Windows. Should I?
