Hello everyone,

I have started buying some components for my new build, starting with the GPU. I have ordered the Sapphire R9-280x Toxic edition. Which Sapphire themselves say needs a 750W for a single card or 1000W for Crossfire (I imagine this to be highly exaggerated though?).

Now I would like the option for crossfire in the future, and I am thinking 850W would be fine for CF Toxics. But I'd better ask the experts before I commit to the PSU. I also plan on doing overclocking on the CPU down the line (4670K).

Here are the PSUs I was considering.
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1850bbefx XFX Black 850W
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-rm1000 Corsair RM 1000
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-120g21000xr EVGA Supernova 1000W

Now, I have heard that the RM series uses sub-par capacitors so I am skeptical about that one. I am also unsure about EVGA as a PSU supplier. But I have read good reviews about that particular PSU.

If anyone else has any other suggestions for PSUs for me that would be fantastic.

Here is the rest of the build incase it influences your opinions.

Correct.

Yeah, and XFX is pretty much SeaSonic so you're set!
