Good afternoon!

I'm in the market for a new mobo to go with the i7-4770k, i'm currently using an i5-2500k and want to upgrade with the diablo 3 expansion coming out, just want some extra performance.

I'm currently running my setup with a Gigabyte ud3h-b3 mobo with a GTX 680. Looking for best mobos around a $200 range with a little flexibility. I'll be buying online within the next week.

My main concern is that I am not sure how long the 680 is going to remain good, I may upgrade to a 780 but i'm not sure if I should be focusing on mobos with dual 16x support instead of 8x 8x support when dual cards are in, does it make a huge performance difference? The only mobo i've seen with the support was around $450.

I was checking out this MSI mobo http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z87GD65_GAMING.html#specification

Would appreciate any advice/suggestions!

If you really need to go to a i7 then this board is pretty sweet and will cover the lot of what you touched on. Also, I would say sticking with a single card at a time is easier, and you can also sell off/give away the older card as you cycle through them.

:D

Both of these boards are very nice btw.
