I have a new system that started giving me bsod for which i have tried all sorts of fixes. does this sound like i found the issue as i have now stopped the bsod but now gone to just a game freeze due to high gpu temps (85c) which im sure i can sort but wanted an opinion if this sounds like the cause.

I found that my corsair h100i link software on pc showing my gpu temp and fan speed (fan speed set to defualt) is able to control the fan but i have been using evga precision x to show my gpu temps and control fan speed (both programs set to start with windows). I have now disabled precision x and now i dont get bsod when in games on heavy scenes but i do now only a game freeze which i am assuming is due to gpu hitting 85c, so i am hoping when i get time to tweak the gpu fan speeds by using the corsair link software only and wih precision x disabled this would mean only one program is monitoring and adjusting fan on gpu stopping my graphic related bsod. Would two programs fighting for control on gpu cause bsod do you think and would i be better using corsair program or precision x as am sure you can remove gpu from corsair software so it has no control over it. I just wanted an opinion before going further.

Deleting cosair link did stop my bsod but i then had game freezes instead so after reading on here i deleted gpu driver and done a clean install off a older driver 341.22 and now i get "a problem caused to stop working correctly" i had it then happen when launched a game twice so tried to disable avast and game launched and so far no freezing so still unsure until i try other games amd go a day without a freeze. Any other ideas i can try?
