So I want to finally enter the glorious world of PC gaming as well as having a computer that isn't hideously slow.

I've tried to do as much research as I can to put together a PC that can play games on ultra settings all the way to 1080p with a steady 60fps. I want a PC that's gonna set me up well for the future!

So here's a list I put together of all the parts I thought would be best for this, interested to see if anything could use changing to lower costs or to hit the high end specs I'm looking for, or any feedback at all that you may have! Many Thanks!

Solution
You can save some money if you wish .

2 x 4 gig of RAM is sufficient for gaming
The H80i cooler is not required for moderate overclocking . It seems to be a decent enough cooler , but consider whether a CM Hyper 212 costing a fraction of that price will work for you

Its a good strong build and should handle any game at 1080p for the next couple of years

This, if you aren't heavily overclocking the CM Hyper 212 will be right up your lane!

PS: Enjoy your build! Seems pretty future-proof to me.
