Hosts file won't save in System32 file, all Libraries are no longer working

I edited my hosts file (C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc) to block websites. I then saved it into My Documents bc that was the only option it gave me. Now none of my library folders can be opened. It gives me the error msg:
Document.library-ms is no longer working.
I've since tried to save the hosts notepad file in C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc but it won't let me bc I do not have administrative allowance. How do I change this?
