I am looking to build a gaming computer that can run games (cod, ac, gmod, skyrim, emulators, etc.) on high or normal settings, while still being able to do simple tasks such as using Microsoft office (word, PowerPoint, Excel). I am new to this and have never built a computer before. What parts do you recommend on a $1000 and below budget? Also is it worth buying 3 monitors (I forget the term for it; I have seen some gameplay and it looks pretty cool)?

Are those 3 monitors included in that $1000 budget? That's pretty substantial if so.

He asked if 3 monitors are worth it and I would argue no. Personally I don't like the bezel bar between each monitor. Spanning across 3 monitors can be pretty taxing on games and would require some GPU horsepower beyond normal recommendations.

Something like this could fit the bill for you. If you needed to purchase a monitor that would change things a bit.
