I already own a Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7750 card and I am going to be upgrading to a Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7770 card but I was wondering if I could crossfire the two and get better performance instead of completely ditching the 7750.

Could you tell me if it is possible?

These are the two specific cards:

7750:

7770:

Thanks for any help :)

Unfortunately, you can't crossfire those two cards because the 7750 there doesn't have a Crossfire connector on it. The 7770 does though.

This, you could always sell your 7750 and buy another 7770 though ;)

Crossfire in this situation should be handled by the pcie bus, without the need to place a ribbon cable between the cards. If i don't remember wrong, you can crossfire cards that are from the same generation , i.e. hd 7k with another hd 7k, hd6k with another hd6k. Only when talking about nvidia you have to use 2 identical cards.

Yeah you can crossfire these but the 7770 will lower its performance down to the 7750
