Trying to install windows 7 no drivers?

I am trying to reinstall windows 7 premium from the installation CD i got with my laptop, my hard drive died so i purchsed a new one yesterday, its not detecting the vd drive so i had to make a usb flash drive with the isntallation on. it detects it but keeps telling me it cant find drivers and i need to install cd/dvd to the drive, tried this but as before not detecting i have also tried the drivers on a usb stick also not detected and a more upto date installation with added p to date drivers but the message still pops up. oh external drive didn't work either

Are you getting this error - A required CD/DVD device driver is missing.

If so, you need to provide the SATA drivers for your motherboard. Usually downloadable from the manufacturers website.
Put them on a USB stick and when the error comes up press Load Drivers - it's in the bottom left if I remember correctly.
Anyway point that to your SATA drivers and the installation should comtinue.
