old timer needs help here please
I'm changing my video card from a gtx260 to a 2048mb gddr5 GTX 760. I'm told that the 260 has 2 6 pin power supply cords and the box on the 760 calls for 1 6pin and 1 4pin, this confuses me and I don't know what to do. Also will the 760 run on a intel core cpu 920 @ 2.67ghz. 2.67 Please speak baby English cause I really don't know what any of this means.

The new 760 should be plug and play for you. Both cards require 2 6pin PEG connectors, and if the 260 is/was up and running, then the 760 should just drop right in and go. Don't even need to mess with the drivers. Yes the 760 will run with older tech cpu like the 920. The only "issue" is the older tech motherboard and cpu will not be able to take full advantage of the new 760, but the effect you see should be unnoticeable.
