Is this PC build compatible?

Hey!
I was wondering if this build would work, I'm just gonna do some light gaming, video editing/rendering. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/TheTechifiedGamer/saved/3PE3 I went with the Xeon becuase I wanted a good video rendering/editing system

Yep, that all works out. I would just get rid of the aftermarket CPU cooler, it would only be marginally better than the one the processor comes with.

Yes it is. You don't really need to buy that cooler though. The Xeon will come with one.

Yes it's compatible and will be great, however I would recommend getting a better CPU cooler, because that one isn't the best and the stock Intel cooler is simply awful. This is the one I recommend: pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2

Also, are you sure you won't need an Optical Drive?
