OC possibilities / Is 8.1 compatible with my build?

No worries at all about OS compatibility as long as it's Windows 7 or 8. You might run into problems with XP.

Not a fan of overclocking at all with stock cooling but I don't own an APU and I don't know how they do with temps. You can try just be careful and monitor your temperatures closely.

Thank you, I was leaning toward 8.1 and just wanted to make sure that would work. Yeah I wouldn't mess with OC normally, but since they're "built-in" features of that APU / Mobo I was wondering if they might be a little more stable.

Actually software overclocking is generally less stable than doing it through BIOS.

Glad to help. :)
