ran namebench, im currently on the fastest DNS. Something entresting that just happened thou...My router has possibly died, no connection from router and i cant get into router threw the 192.168.1.1 gateway(Will not even recognize it). So im running off the from the cable that would normally go into the router, and seems MUCH more stable, 0 packet loss 90% of the time. Ping much more stable 20-45m.

Do you think my router was the problem? it is about 2 years old its a E1500 from Cisco/Linksys

Its a good change that it was the problem.
Sometimes when the get old they get less signal and higher pings (by the way 2 years isn't that old)!
I think you are now searching for a new one?

Yea looking for something around 100$, nothing to major, WiFi speed is not a concern, but a good wired connection consistency is to me. Do most routers perform the same when your only running Ethernet threw them? or are there big differences?

I don't get this part:
"same when your only running Ethernet threw them".

You can look for a router (with a hole lot extras which you pay for too) or just an AP (access point) witch give you wireless internet.
AP: Trendnet TEW-690AP (I havn't any experience with this one but I have read some good reviews) it is only 2,4 Ghz!!!
Or do want a router. Look for cisco/linksys

I guess what im referring to when i say "same when your only running Ethernet threw them", I mean whats a good router that will have the least Interference in a wired signal versus running with no router at all. Or are most routers not going to make any interference?
