I am trying to put together a list of components to make a $1000 PC build. I want this PC built for gaming that can play games on ultra. I have a mouse, monitor, and a keyboard, but will need an OS and all the other components. Do not need an SSD. Any tips or builds would be great.

Got a case? Do you want to go AMD or Intel.

I have heard the i5 4670k is the best CPU for gaming, in a $200 price range, so I was thinking of going with that, but if you think amd will work better I am fine with one of those too. And I do not have a case

If it's just for gaming AMD will be fine. i5 is nice too. I think this will work. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/2Y3BK
I don't know where to shave the extra hundred though as I don't want to sacrifice quality

Here's intel build. again I don't know where to take the hundred extra off because this as far as I'm concerned is the cheapest without sacrificing quality but here http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/2Y4ve

Also I find the bitfenix cases awsome as I have the Ronin and it has everything and fits everything. Good air flow
