Hello,
A little bit ago my computer shutdown completely for no reason. First my usb's froze up them my display went dark and then the whole computer shut down without any warning from windows 7. It immediately restarted. When I looked into event viewer i got this Log Name: System
Source: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power
Date: 2/11/2014 1:48:52 AM
Event ID: 41
Task Category: (63)
Level: Critical
Keywords: (2)
User: SYSTEM
Computer: cas
Description:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first . This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
I got no beeps upon restart that would indicate a hardware failure and it booted into windows just fine. My question is what happened? is a piece of hardware going if so what? and how to test it?
Thank you. If you need more information please ask.
